I started building rods over 20 years ago as a result of my early fascination with flyfishing. My first contact with a bamboo rod was in my childhood, so “the plant was seeded early” in my life. At some time I started experimenting and working with bamboo and made my first experiences.

I consistently perfected the manufacturing methods and cosmetics of my rods and tried to learn more about this fascinating rod building material with each rod. Bamboo still manages to puzzle me from time to time, but that only helps to keep the fascination and ambition alive.
